Riomaggiore Docks, Cinque Terre | Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Riomaggiore (Via S. Giacomo)

This spot in Ropmaggiore was one of the first images I saw of Cinque Terre, and I knew I had to come here so I can photograph it myself.

There are several places here to capture the beauty of Riomaggiore— you can take your photos from Via S Giacomo where you get to the end of the water, or you can climb down the rocks for an even better photo. Don’t worry, they have stairs!

Riomaggiore Valley | Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Riomaggiore (Via Pecunia)

I stumbled across this scene just wandering around Riomaggiore. It’s such a gorgeous spot on via Pecunia where you can get a geometrical shot of town! I don’t think there’s a name for this outlook, but please see map coordinates below if you’d like to photograph this yourself.

Manarola (Via Birolli) | Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Manarola (Via Birolli)

If you entered Manarola by train, you can’t miss this gem. It’s right around the corner from the train station and you have to pass by it in order to get to town. I thought it offered a beautiful snapshot of Cinque Terre streets! It’s a pretty busy street with stores that sell just about everything.

Manarola Scenic Viewpoint | Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Manarola Scenic Viewpoint

If you’ve only seen one photo of Cinque Terre, it would this photo. There’s a scenic outlook that’s a short walk up marked on Google Maps as the Manarola Scenic outlook, and it’s a must-visit for every photographer.

Note: There are several spots around here where you can take a photo of Manarola depending on where you’re at on the stairs. And if you’re hungry, there’s a restaurant here that offers outdoor seating with this view as well.

Corniglia (Via Stazione) | Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Corniglia (Via Stazione)

To get the best shot of Corniglia, you must leave Corniglia. If you follow Vis Stazione from town, you’ll stumble across this view that offers, in my opinion, the best panoramic view of town.

There are stairs you can take around the coordinates below take you to a few trails and offer an even better angle for the photo.

Vernazza (Via Visconti), Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Vernazza (Via Visconti)

This isn’t just one of the best views of Vernazza, it’s one of the best places to relax after a long day of hiking. This shot was taking from the docks of Vernazza, and offers not only a stunning view of town, but the boats and people as well.

Map Coordinates: 44°08'07.7"N 9°40'53.3"E

Vernazza (Sentiero Monterosso) | Most Instagrammable Spots in Cinque Terre

Vernazza (Sentiero Monterosso)

To get shot of Vernazza from a higher vantage point, take a short hike up the Sentiero Monterosso trail. You don’t have to go far in the trail for this picture, and despite the name, it’s more of a leisurely stroll up than a hike.
