Most Instagrammable Spots in Procida, Italy (With Maps!)

I firmly believe that Procida Island is Italy’s best kept secret.

When I was planning my trip to Rome, I did a quick search on possible day trips, and found— via Google Images— this place called Procida Island that looked so beautiful that I knew I had to go see it. Getting here was a bit of a challenge, but totally worth it. It’s not crowded with tourists like Cinque Terre and Venice, and it’s not packed with people taking pre-wedding photos like Santorini so you can actually enjoy this island for its authentic beauty and welcoming culture.

Here are the Most Instagrammable Spots in Procida, Italy

I’ve also created a map with all these locations pinned for you at the end.

No visit to Procida is complete without going to see Marina di Corricella!

Salita Castello Observation Deck

This is THE spot to see in Procida. This is the photo that shows up when you google Procida— and it’s just as beautiful in person as it is in photos.

The Salita Castello Observation Deck is on the other side of the island from where the ferry drops you off at Procida. The walk here itself is quite a site, as you’ll find yourself snapping photos along the whole way.

There’s a beautiful yellow ledge that extends across the whole road that is perfect for portraits and landscape photos.

Walking down this street felt like walking down a fairy tale. It’s just as amazing in person as it is in photos.

Santa Maria delle Grazie

Also known as Santuario S. Maria delle Grazie Incoronata on Google Maps, this church (and its surrounding areas) are quite breathtaking to photograph. This church is known for its beautiful baroque style architecture (like St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City and St. Paul’s Church in London) and it’s quite a sight to see.

There’s a gorgeous square here named Semmarezio La Terrazza di Procida that’s great for resting, photographing, and people watching if you need a break as well!

Discesa Graziella

This road from Santa Maria delle Grazie to the coast of Procida has incredible corners with amazing sights with lots of color that you can’t help but photograph. The most instagrammable spot I’ve noticed, is between two pink houses.

Marina di Corricella

This promenade in Procida is one of the most satisfying strolls I’ve ever walked in my life. It’s a beautiful place to relax, eat, people watch, and photograph.

It’s actually hard to take a bad photo here because every angle and every spot is beautiful.

Via Roma is the first street you’ll walk on when you get off the ferry to Procida. It’s very vibrant, busy, and packed with locals that are just living their life and going on with their day.

Marina di Procida

This is hands down one of the most beautiful marinas you will see in your life. To get some amazing photos of the island, take a stroll at the boat docking areas to get amazing snaps of both Procida Island, the sea, and the hundreds of boats docked here.

In order to get the best view of Procida… you must leave Procida. As you arrive to, or leave the island by ferry, take advantage of that spot to snap photos from the water!
